• You want a rushed checklist. The circuit is long-distance and contemplative by design; three of the holiest sites in Buddhism are not a day trip.
• You expect five-star everywhere. Bodh Gaya and Kushinagar offer comfortable hotels and monastery guesthouses, not the Taj; we book the best available, honestly described.
• You cannot manage long drives. Varanasi to Bodh Gaya to Kushinagar covers real distance; we pace it, but the road is part of the pilgrimage.
• You want VIP darshan. There is none on this route, from anyone. The sites are free and open, and that is the point.

Carry modest, comfortable clothing and footwear that comes off easily at every site; a light shawl. A thin mat if you wish to sit and meditate under the Bodhi Tree or at the stupas.
