Experience My India’s 2 Days Ayodhya Tour Package is for pilgrims who want more than a rushed day trip — one unhurried night in Ram Nagri so the darshan and the river both get their time. Day 1 covers the Ram Janmabhoomi circuit: Hanuman Garhi’s 76 steps first, as tradition asks, then Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Kanak Bhawan and Dashratha Mahal, closing with the evening Saryu Aarti at Naya Ghat. Day 2 opens on the water with a sunrise boat ride and a holy dip, then Ram Ki Paidi, Nageshwarnath and, if time allows, Valmiki Bhawan and Treta Ke Thakur.
One honest thing most itineraries hide: Treta Ke Thakur opens to the public only on Kartik Shukla Ekadashi, so on any other date you see it from outside — we tell you before you build hope around it. With a hotel close to the temples, an AC cab across both days and a local guide who knows the darshan sequence, nothing feels squeezed. For your dates’ per-person price, WhatsApp +91-7302265809.

Our tour representative meets you at the station or airport and transfers you to your pre-booked hotel near the temples. After a short rest, the guided tour begins.
Tradition in Ayodhya is specific: you take Hanuman’s blessing before Ram’s. This hilltop fort-temple to the guardian of Ayodhya is reached by 76 stone steps and houses the child form, Bal Hanuman. We start here so the rest of the circuit follows the proper sequence.
The Ram Mandir, consecrated on 22 January 2024, stands at the believed birthplace of Lord Rama. We use the afternoon darshan session (2:00–7:00 PM) so you stand before Ram Lalla without the mid-morning crush.
The Golden Palace, gifted to Sita by Queen Kaikeyi just after her wedding and kept as her personal residence in the stories of Treta Yuga. Its idols wear real gold crowns and the painted interiors are among the most striking in Ayodhya.
A revered Siddha Peetha and the abode of King Dasharatha, Lord Rama’s father. Inside you see the idols of Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughan together, with continuous kirtan filling the courtyard.
We close the day at the river for the evening Saryu Aarti — rows of lamps, synchronised chanting and the crowd gathering as the sky darkens. Then a slow walk along the lit ghats.
After the aarti we return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay near the temples, ready for an early Day 2 on the water.
Insider tip
Visiting Hanuman Garhi before Ram Janmabhoomi is not a formality — it is the sequence Ayodhya’s own priests and residents follow. Experience My India keeps it, and flexes the Ram Mandir darshan to Day 2’s 7:00 AM opening if your arrival runs late.
The second day belongs to the Saryu. We start on the water at first light, when the river is calm and the ghats are quiet, then move through the riverside temples before departure.
We reach the ghats for a sunrise boat ride, the most peaceful hour on the river, and a holy dip for those who wish to bathe. From the water the temple spires rise over the old city exactly as pilgrims have seen them for centuries.
After the river we return for breakfast, then walk the 48 stone steps of Ram Ki Paidi — the series of ghats on the Saryu where devotees take a ritual dip to dissolve their sins, alive with priests, garland vendors and morning prayer.
A short walk along the river brings you to Nageshwarnath, an ancient Shiva temple said to have been built by Kush, Lord Rama’s son. Its quiet, incense-heavy sanctum is a contrast to the grandeur of the Ram Mandir.
Dedicated to Sage Valmiki, the author of the Ramayana, this bhawan is set in lush greenery near the ghats — a calm, green space for a few minutes of meditation before the day ends.
Treta Ke Thakur marks the spot where Lord Rama is said to have performed the Ashwamedha Yagna, its idols carved from a single block of black sandstone and set up by the King of Kullu, later renovated by Ahilyabai Holkar in 1784.
With the blessings of Lord Rama, Mata Sita and Lord Hanuman, we drop you at your chosen station, airport or hotel, and the yatra ends on a happy note.
Insider tip
The sunrise boat is the quiet highlight of this tour, not an add-on — the Saryu is narrower than the Ganga at Varanasi, so the ghats and spires sit close on both banks and the whole city seems to float past you.
Senior citizen note
Hanuman Garhi’s 76 steps are the only real climb, and a paalki is available at the base. The hotel sits close to the temples so each day stays short, the boat dip is entirely optional, and the AC cab is with you throughout both days.

What travel guides don't tell you before you arrive.
Most blogs say the Ram Mandir is open all day and darshan is easy. Both halves are misleading, and both cost pilgrims their darshan.
First, the timing. General darshan of Ram Lalla runs in two sessions — roughly 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM — with the temple closed in between for the Bhog offering and the deity’s rest. Any group that arrives between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM finds the gates shut. The 7:00–11:00 AM window has the shortest queue, which is why, on this two-day tour, Experience My India can put your darshan either in the Day 1 afternoon session or at the Day 2 morning opening, whichever gives you the calmest line.
Second, the security. Mobile phones, cameras, smartwatches, leather items and bags are not permitted inside. Free lockers sit before the first security checkpoint — but pilgrims who don’t know this reach the gate holding a phone and get turned back, losing 20–30 minutes. Between the locker, the screening, the roughly 500-metre corridor and the queue, budget about two hours for the temple alone.
Third, the cost. General darshan is completely free. A Sugam Darshan e-pass, booked only on the official srjbtkshetra.org portal, cuts the general queue from roughly 60–90 minutes to about 30–45. There is no legitimate paid VIP entrance; anyone outside the gate offering guaranteed darshan for cash is a tout selling nothing. Experience My India books only through the official channel, and for a Mangala or Shringar Aarti we tell you to request that free pass 10–15 days ahead, because inner-area numbers are strictly capped.
Get it right — early arrival, phone in the locker, official pass — and Ram Lalla darshan on this tour is calm, not chaotic.
Almost every guest books this tour for the Ram Mandir. Almost every guest tells us afterward that the river was the part they didn’t expect to feel.
At dawn the Saryu is glass-still. The boat pushes off while mist is still on the water, and Ram Ki Paidi, Naya Ghat and the Ram Mandir spires come up slowly in the first light. There is almost no sound but the oar. Because the Saryu is narrower than the Ganga at Varanasi, the banks sit close on both sides and the sacred city is right there, not a distant skyline. Guests who came for temples find themselves quiet, watching the same view Lord Rama is said to have seen every morning of his life here.
By evening the same ghat is transformed. The priests take their positions, the first lamps are lit, and the chanting rises until it is coming off the water and the stone on both banks. When the whole ghat lifts the aarti thali together, the reflection on the dark Saryu doubles every flame. In our WhatsApp feedback, the Saryu — the sunrise boat and the evening aarti — is the single thing guests describe most often, and the word that keeps returning is peace.
Rajeev Sharma and the Experience My India Ayodhya team position your boat and your aarti seat early, before the crowd, so you experience both as a participant rather than from the back of a scrum. After hundreds of mornings and evenings here, the reaction that still moves our own guide is the silence — a ghat full of people, and for a few minutes, no one speaks.
Pro tip: Our local guides know these nuances intimately. They navigate crowds, time the darshan, handle protocols and share the stories textbooks miss.

The practical details that make the difference on the day.
Ram Mandir closes midday (roughly 11:30 AM–2:00 PM) for Bhog and rest — Experience My India plans your darshan around the open sessions, never at a shut gate.
Phones, cameras, smartwatches and leather are not allowed inside the Ram Mandir sanctum — deposit them at the free lockers before the first security checkpoint or you will be sent back.
Hanuman Garhi is a climb of 76 stone steps with no lift; a paalki at fixed posted rates is available at the base — tell us in advance and we arrange it.
Treta Ke Thakur opens to the public only on Kartik Shukla Ekadashi (October–November); on any other date you view it from outside — if you want inside darshan, we plan your dates around it.
The Saryu Aarti time is seasonal — about 5:45–6:30 PM in winter and 7:00–8:00 PM in summer — and we seat you roughly 45 minutes early for a clear view.
The sunrise Saryu boat is shared at about Rs 50–100 per person; a private boat is Rs 300–500, and your guide fixes the fare before you board.
General Ram Lalla darshan is 100% free — anyone selling VIP tickets near the gate is a tout; Experience My India books only the official Sugam Darshan e-pass on srjbtkshetra.org.
Private cars stop at the Ram Janmabhoomi Path junction; the last 200–400 metres through Ramkot’s lanes is on foot, with e-rickshaws at about Rs 20–30 per ride.
