Not a call centre
The difference between a good Mathura trip and a fleeced one is whether your travel agency in Mathura is actually in Mathura. Experience My India is: it was founded in Mathura in 2018 and still runs its operation from a local office at Vrindavan Packages, Gokul Mahaban Bangar, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh 281303, staffed by Braj-born guides who walk these lanes every day.
Before you pay any Mathura travel agency, ask for the exact hotel name, the full price and the cancellation terms in writing; Experience My India sends all three before payment, and its plans are built by a local, not a call centre in another city.
Local, by design
Guru Dutt is the founder of Experience My India, which he started in Mathura in 2018, the city where the whole company began. He is from Braj, studied at IIT Jodhpur, and his work has been featured in Forbes India and Outlook India. Under him the company has hosted more than 50,000 pilgrims at a 4.5 out of 5 rating.
You plan with his local Mathura team, not a faceless desk, which is why the itineraries are timed to real darshan windows and honest about when a temple is impossible and when it is perfect.
Recognised, not just named
The Mathura Vrindavan unit is part of Experience My India, recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and by UP Tourism, a member of IATO and ADTOI, ISO 9001 certified, MCA-registered as a Private Limited company and GST and Udyam MSME registered. Guiding runs in Hindi and English on every tour, with Telugu and Kannada available through Experience My India, because a large share of Braj pilgrims travel up from South India.
A conversation, not a form
Booking is a WhatsApp conversation, not a faceless form: send your dates, pickup city and group size, and your named hotel, the full per-person price and the cancellation terms arrive in writing before any payment. There are no agent markups and no hidden charges.
Same-day to multi-city
A Mathura trip can be a same-day darshan run from Agra or Delhi, a comfortable two-day Mathura and Vrindavan tour with a night in a Braj hotel, or a full multi-day yatra out to Govardhan and Barsana. Whether you call it a Mathura holiday package, a Mathura vacation package or simply a tour, every trip is private, in your own AC car with your own guide and your own darshan windows, and each is quoted per person in writing.
The Braj circuit
A Mathura tour with Experience My India centres on Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the riverside Dwarkadhish Temple and Vishram Ghat on the Yamuna. Paired Vrindavan darshan adds Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir and ISKCON, and longer trips reach Gokul, the Govardhan Parikrama, Barsana and Nandgaon.

See packagesA calm two-day plan
This is the shape most families take. Your written plan names every stop and is timed to the darshan windows.
Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi early, before the queues build, then Dwarkadhish, the old-city galis, Gokul and Raman Reti, closing with the Yamuna aarti at Vishram Ghat.
Banke Bihari at a planned hour to beat the crush, ISKCON for the kirtan, Nidhivan and Seva Kunj, and Prem Mandir at dusk when the marble glows.
On the trip plan, two days is the sweet spot for most pilgrims: Mathura and Gokul on day one, all of Vrindavan on day two. One day is possible but rushed, covering only the headline temples, and it works as a same-day trip from Agra (about an hour) or Delhi (three to four hours). Three days lets you add the Govardhan Parikrama, Barsana and Nandgaon at a calm pace. Not sure of the shape yet? Send your dates and party to Experience My India and it returns a same-day, two-day or three-day plan, priced per person and timed to the temples.
No hidden charges
The Mathura tour package price, or cost, depends only on duration, group size, pickup city and hotel tier, and it is fixed in writing before you pay. Budget, premium and luxury builds are all possible: a budget or affordable Mathura tour keeps the private car and local guide and trims the hotel, while a premium or luxury Mathura tour package uses a 5-star Vrindavan hotel.
You can take it with car only, with car and guide, with hotel, with hotel and car, with sightseeing or with meals, and the quote shows exactly the combination you choose.
Easy to reach
Most Mathura trips start from Delhi or Agra, and Experience My India confirms airport pickup from both before you land. A Mathura tour package from Delhi runs about 180 km down the Yamuna Expressway, roughly three to four hours, and works as a same-day return or an overnight. A Mathura tour package from Agra is just about 55 to 60 km and an hour, the easiest same-day pairing and the one that adds the Taj Mahal on the 3-day and 4-day tours.
Trips from Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad and the wider NCR run on the same expressway, and Mathura Junction, 12 to 14 km away, is one of North India's best-connected stations for those arriving by train.
Never a fixed departure
Every Mathura tour is private, customized and personalized to you, never a fixed departure with strangers. A family Mathura tour package gets a gentle, not-overloaded pace and darshan timed to short queues; a Mathura tour package for couples gets the quiet aarti windows and a Yamuna boat.
A Mathura tour package for senior citizens gets the least walking, assisted darshan and an unhurried evening; and a Mathura group tour package gets a dedicated coordinator, comfortable AC vehicles and group offers of up to 50% for larger parties.
Named before you book
Overnight Mathura packages stay in Vrindavan, quieter and more immersive than the city, a short drive from the Mathura temples. Experience My India names your hotel and its tier before you pay, across three tiers.

4-Star Premium
Sarovar Portico, Vrindavan
Dependable 4-star comfort, best value on the grid.
Popular4-Star Heritage / Boutique
Sri Vrinda Heritage, or Kadamb Kuteer
Boutique Braj character over chain polish.

5-Star Luxury
Vivanta Vrindavan (Taj group), or Radisson Vrindavan
Full-service 5-star stay with priority coordination included.
Breakfast is included at every property. If a named hotel is sold out for your dates, the replacement is named on the same quote with its tier, and you approve it before paying.
Private, always
Every Mathura tour rides a private, chauffeur-driven, air-conditioned vehicle, never a shared bus, with all types of cars available to match your party: a Sedan for couples, an SUV or MUV for families, and a 13-seater Urbania or a Tempo Traveller for groups. The driver knows the Braj routes and the temple parking, which is half the battle in the narrow lanes.
Honest, not sold
Krishna Janmabhoomi, Mathura: darshan is free and there is no paid public VIP line. Security is strict and phones and bags are not allowed inside, so Experience My India plans lockers and an early arrival before the queues build.
Banke Bihari, Vrindavan: darshan is jhanki-style, with the curtain opening and closing in short intervals, and the temple is very crowded on weekends and Ekadashi, so an early-morning visit is planned in. For those who want it, Experience My India also arranges the official Banke Bihari VIP darshan and itra sewa.
Prem Mandir and Nidhivan: Prem Mandir is best at dusk when the marble lights up; Nidhivan closes after dusk, for reasons every local will tell you, and the plan respects that.
Yamuna and Govardhan: the Vishram Ghat aarti is free and the boat is pre-fixed at a fair rate; the Govardhan Parikrama is a 21 km barefoot circuit of about five to eight hours, best walked October to February, with vehicle support available for elders.
Anyone selling a secret paid darshan is inventing it.
Confirm the current temple phone and security rules for your date with your coordinator, since they tighten around Janmashtami and Holi.
On the ground in Braj
Because Experience My India is on the ground in Braj, a Mathura package can carry more than darshan. Ask on WhatsApp and the full services list comes with your quote.
Plan around the festivals
The best time to visit Mathura is October to March, when the days sit between roughly 8 and 28 degrees and the temple lanes are comfortable on foot; October and November are the calmest. February and March bring Braj Holi, with the famous Lathmar Holi at Barsana and Nandgaon and the flower Holi at Banke Bihari, and August or September brings Janmashtami at Krishna Janmabhoomi.
Both festivals draw huge crowds, so Experience My India builds in buffer days and plans darshan around the peaks. Avoid May and June, when the heat makes long temple days hard, and note that dense fog from mid-December to late January can delay Delhi trains, so a road transfer keeps your plan on time.
Set expectations honestly
Experience My India runs private tours only, so a shared-bus darshan will always undercut it.
Phones are not allowed inside, and that is not negotiable.
Braj rooms and slots go months ahead, and Experience My India will say no honestly rather than downgrade you silently.
A Mathura tour here is darshan, the Yamuna aarti and early dinners. That is the product.

A Mathura package starts from ₹1,499 per person for a one-day Braj darshan and ₹2,499 for the two-day Mathura and Vrindavan tour, rising to ₹3,399 for the three-day tour with the Taj Mahal and up to ₹6,599 for the ten-day multi-city yatra. Every price is per person and includes a private AC car, a local guide and temple darshan, with no hidden charges; overnight packages add your chosen hotel tier.
Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the Dwarkadhish Temple and the Vishram Ghat Yamuna aarti in Mathura, with paired Vrindavan darshan at Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir and ISKCON. Longer tours add Gokul, the Govardhan Parikrama, Barsana and Nandgaon, and the Agra tours add the Taj Mahal.
Yes. Mathura is about 55 to 60 km from Agra (an hour) and about 180 km from Delhi (three to four hours on the Yamuna Expressway), so a one-day or same-day tour works from either, with airport pickup confirmed before you land. Two days is more comfortable if you want both towns without rushing.
At Krishna Janmabhoomi darshan is free and no paid public VIP exists; phones and bags are not allowed inside, so an early arrival is planned in. At Banke Bihari, Experience My India can arrange the official VIP darshan and itra sewa for those who want priority access.

Yes. Every tour has an English-speaking Braj-born guide, and Telugu and Kannada guiding is available through Experience My India for the many pilgrims who travel up from South India.
Experience My India was founded in Mathura in 2018 by Guru Dutt, who is from Braj and studied at IIT Jodhpur, and whose work has been featured in Forbes India and Outlook India. The company is still run on the ground from its local Mathura office, which is why the darshan planning is genuinely local rather than outsourced.
